We’re a small but dedicated team of experienced IT professionals led by Jamie Gooch and Richard Burke, combining over 45 years of technical expertise with a deep connection to the island we call home.
We understand that Waiheke has its own rhythm and challenges — from patchy connectivity and remote work demands to small-business IT setups that need to “just work.”

Our Story
Waiheke IT was born from the same commitment to local service that powered Island Tech, the company Jamie founded in 2022.
After years of serving local clients, Jamie and Tim saw an opportunity to reimagine what IT support could look like — one that balanced technical excellence with genuine community connection.
In 2025, Waiheke IT Limited was officially formed to carry that vision forward — with a clear focus on island businesses, homeowners, and nonprofit groups who deserve high-quality, transparent technology services delivered by people they know and trust.
