What Happened to Island Tech?


Last year we embarked upon an expansion phase by joining with an Auckland company, newly setup for this purpose, called Northeast45. Unfortunately this partnership became an hostile takeover of Island Tech which saw us lose our eMail contact with our customers on the Island and all customers' support and sales enquiries being re-directed to Northeast and their other partner company.


Fortunately the take over failed and Island Tech continued and still continues to support those customers under contracts with us and most of our loyal local customers as well.


In order for Island Tech to re-start marketing and supporting the wider local community again we have had to re-brand as Waiheke Island Tech, or Waiheke IT for short.


We at Waiheke IT are the same local team as were at Island Tech, with the same commitment to our local community of homes, charities, businesses both small and large.
